About us

Family and Children’s Services of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville (FCSLLG) protects children so they can grow up safe from abuse, including physical, emotional and sexual abuse as well as neglect.

FCSLLG a non-profit organization that serves children and families in the counties of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville and their surrounding areas. We are commonly referred to as a child welfare services agency or a children’s aid society.

Our Vision

We envision a future where every child grows up with a sense of belonging surrounded by love, culture, and community – in their family homes whenever possible, and when not possible – where family-based alternatives are the norm, driven by kinship, connection and trust. Our work is rooted in equity, inclusivity, truth and reconciliation, and guided by community collaboration and a deep respect for cultural identity and Indigenous history. We act as a collaborative partner for sustained child safety and wellbeing, engaging with families, partners, and communities to co-create solutions that uplift and empower through ever-evolving community and societal changes.

Our newest strategic plan outlines the organization’s direction for the next five years. It focuses on strengthening services, building partnerships with the community, and ensuring children and families receive equitable and inclusive support. Through innovation, collaboration, and accountability, we aim to improve well-being and create stronger family connections across the region.
